Hospitality and tourism is such a wide ranging subject, this experience is a deep dive into the industry in the context of Goa. How Goa has evolved as a leading destination, the challenges it poses, what impact has entrepreneurs had, the context and challenges in which they operate. Tourism policy and its impacts. Stories from the grassroots. Many interactions, demonstrations, workshops with policy makers, impact leaders and various stakeholders have been curated to unfold the nuances of this industry in a span of 3 or 4 days



  • Hands on baking workshop with an informative chat over some delicacies about the baking business

  • Interactive session with some responsible travel professionals and visit to some responsible travel companies to understand the growth of the segment and its day to day operations

  • Specially designed experiences by the leading responsible travel operators of Goa

  • Adventure and wildlife experiences with acclaimed naturalists with a talk by activists and social groups and the impact their various movements have had in nature conservation

  • A talk by leading Architects who have designed some of the most acclaimed hospitality projects and the role that design plays in creating experiences and enabling services in hotels and restaurants followed by visits to some of these acclaimed projects

  • A half day workshop about an artist who is a passionate home cook and expresses herself through plating

  • Slow cooking and the story of a couple who have transitioned from the corporate world to start their own restaurant where food is sometimes cooked more than 10 hours before it is served. 

  • About Goan cuisine and the reminiscence of the Goan Sarswat community by a family run Goan enterprise

  • Cashew, its significance and its various products and the innovations of new age Goan entrepreneurs

  • Craft beer factory visit, the numbers and the aspirations of a brand that is on its way to be a cult.

Day 01 | Arrive Goa | Baking business 101 

On arrival assist and transfer to the hotel,check in orientation and later proceed for a half interactive hands-on workshop at a leading bakery, meet the team and learn the basics of baking while understanding the backend of the business. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay. 


Day 02 | Goa | Basics of Responsible & Heritage Tourism

Breakfast at the hotel, start the day with a heritage walk at the latin quarter of Panjim city, later meet the founders of a company that has pioneered responsible and heritage tourism in Goa to understand their journey, how they started and how have they adapted and evolved to their aspirations for the future. 


Later drive to a traditional Goan restaurant overlooking the Mandovi that is known for their Saraswat Goan cuisine, after brief introduction by the team about how they conceptualized the restaurant and their learnings of managing a restaurant through the Pandemic years we treat you to a traditional Pangat lunch served on Banana leaves with traditional Goan delicacies like Tisriyache Dangar (Clam Cutlets), Sungtachi Udatmethi (Prawn curry) and many more. After the lunch join a historian as he takes you through the historic Reis Magos Fort and the various roles it played during different eras  


Post the Fort visit we shall visit a Cafe where you will meet an artist who is a passionate home cook and expresses herself in plating the food, learn about her journey and the art of plating. Later return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay


Day 03 | Goa | Adventure tourism 101

Breakfast at the hotel, what goes behind building an adventure experience in the oceans, the planning, capacity building, training the team, today we meet the the leading adventure experience providers in Goa and understand from them the nuts and bolts of operating in this space, their initial years and their journey with a glimpse into their plans ahead. Experience a Kayaking experience with them as well. Return to the hotel for a break for lunch and then in the evening get ready to meet the most prolific activists of Goa who have championed the cause for the environment, and the impacts they have created. Also be enlightened as they take you on a Mangrove walk as they explain the importance of each layer of our ecosystem. 


Day 04 | Goa | All about slow cooking and craft beers

Breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive to a small little boutique hotel, we come here to meet the team who have transitioned from their corporate jobs to follow their passion and start a restaurant focused on slow cooking. Their journey is fascinating and it is sure going to inspire you. Have a soulful meal here and later drive to a brewery, a craft beer made of rice in a heritage house. This visit will be an introduction into the exciting world of craft beers. Taste the beers and have an informal discussion about setting up a brewery. Later we shall drop you to the airport or railway station for your onward journey.

  • The stay, all meals right from the time you reach Goa till your departure, all activities, all interactive sessions, all logistics, parking, appointments will be coordinated by us and will be included in the total costing

  • All experiences, walks, activities, hands on workshops will be scheduled as per the final itinerary and all necessary permissions will be taken in advance and will be included in the costing

  • The final schedule will be confirmed as per the dates and the availability of the resource person. Once dates are confirmed we shall confirm all arrangements before we proceed with advance payments
