About the experience

A day trip by road from Goa to the historic and beautiful landscape of a part of Konkan

that is yet to be commercialized. Witness beautiful white sand beaches, snorkeling, Scuba diving and savor the distinct flavors of the region with a traditional Malvani Pangat lunch served on banana leaves. This unlimited dining experience has an variety of local seafood, vegetarian and non vegetarian preparations.

Itinerary

0700hrs - Depart from Goa, drive through the beautiful coastal villages of Konkan crossing the border from Goa into Maharshtra

 

0900hrs - Arrive at Tarkarli in Maharashtra, breakfast

1000hrs - Proceed for visit to Sindhudurg fort and Snorkeling and Scuba diving activities in Tarkarli beach

1400hrs - Return from water sports activities, freshen up and enjoy traditional and

 

unlimited Malvani Pangat Lunch featuring the freshest seafood, veg and non veg local

 

delicacies along with sweets served on Banana Leaves. 

 

 

1500hrs - Talk by a local historian on the influences of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on Konkan

1600hrs - Proceed for a guided walk through Malvan market. The historical

 

Malvan market has amazing Architecture and is also the place where we can buy local

 

spices, masalas, kokum and Malvani sweets.

1700hrs - Tea, snacks and departure

1900hrs - Estimated time of return to Goa (North Goa)
